The indoor picnic includes a menu ripe with tomato-themed dishes, a silent auction and live music. The event helps more than your taste buds; festival proceeds assist various organizations.

We need YOUR help! We are preparing for the 35th annual and GRAND FINALE (Yes! The last one!!) Great Tomato Festival and need your help! Please join us on Tuesday, August 13th and/or Wednesday, August 14th for daytime food prep or the evening of Aug. 14th to help at the event.

Join us for the 35th and FINAL Great Tomato Festival! The Great Tomato Festival was established in 1989. It is an annual, indoor summer gourmet picnic. Evening activities include live music, a silent auction, Menu Venue, and tomato displays courtesy of MarketPlace Foods. This is a community fundraiser, which benefits non-profit organizations, including the Taube Museum of Art and the Minot Symphony Orchestra. Must be 21+

Did you know these are just a couple of great examples of what VOLUNTEERING can do for you?
We are looking for volunteers to help with the upcoming Great Tomato Festival fundraiser on Aug. 13 and 14.
Both daytime and evening shifts are available for prep and during the event. Daytime shifts include simple food prep, while Wednesday evening is helping during the event. Evening shift workers must be 21+.
Many hands make light work, please consider volunteering today.

Chocolate Cake Contest

Want to help support the 35th and FINAL Great Tomato Festival?!
We are looking for bakers for the Chocolate Cake Contest!

To enter:
1. Complete this form by July 31st. https://forms.gle/9FNH6szEnaoMQ7Kh7
2. Bake and decorate your CHOCOLATE cake then deliver it to the ND State Fair Center 4-H Hall between 1pm and 3pm on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. Cakes should be in a clear disposable container (will not be returned) or covered in plastic.
3. The only rule...the cake MUST contain chocolate!
All entries will be displayed at the Great Tomato Festival on Aug. 14, 2024, at the ND State Fair Center.
Attendees will view cakes (no tasting, so dress it to impress!) and vote on their favorite cake by placing a bid. The cake with the highest bid will be the winner! All cakes will be sold in the silent auction.

We are looking for businesses or groups to sponsor the 2023 GTF to be held on Wed. Aug. 9th!
$300 includes 10 tickets to share with your employees, friends or family with your name listed in the program.
$600 includes 10 tickets, a reserved table, 2 bottles of wine and meal service, (no need to wait in line!) plus marketing!
$1,200 includes 20 tickets, 2 reserved tables, 4 bottles of wine and meal service PLUS prime marketing spots!
